Slow-Cooked Tangy Ribs recipe

    4 servings


  • 1 1/4 cups vinegar
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 dash ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 pounds pork spareribs


  • Combine vinegar, ketchup, sugar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, salt, pepper and oil in a slow cooker; mix well.
  • Heat a small amount of oil in a large skillet and brown ribs.
  • You can cut the ribs into serving sizes before browning, if you would like.
  • Transfer ribs to slow cooker.
  • Cover and cook on low for 4 to 6 hours.
